After six years of planning and construction, the new Bethel Children‘s Centre, one of the most modern children‘s hospitals in Germany, was opened in Bielefeld in summer 2023. From the outside, the striking building impresses with its multi-coloured façade and large window fronts. Inside, the love for the young patients is particularly evident in the details. Great importance was attached to a user- and patient-friendly design. This is also reflected in the choice of doors, which focussed on their specific use. Teckentrup supplied various doors for the project, in particular fire protection closures, in specified designs depending on the installation location.
