We are committed to sustainable production and occupational health and safety with the integrated management systems according to DIN EN ISO 14001 (environment), DIN ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) and DIN EN ISO 50001 (energy). Our management system is based on the international standards with the highest requirements in the respective product markets and on the demands of our customers. Consistent application ensures flawless product quality and excellent logistics performance.

For us, this means reducing ecological impacts to such an extent as can be achieved with economically viable applications. Our production processes are therefore subject to continuous further development, and the use of raw materials, emissions and waste volumes are constantly determined, evaluated and minimized.

We actively protect the environment in all phases of production: We use environmentally compatible processes and are constantly improving our technologies to protect people and the environment. The use of materials, emissions and waste quantities are continuously determined, evaluated and minimized. We operate a modern energy management system for all forms of energy (compressed air, electrical and heating energy) as well as for all machinery and buildings from an ecological point of view.

As a manufacturer of high-quality products, our company is aware of the energy input required for this purpose. As a commercial enterprise, we acknowledge our special responsibility in the efficient use of energy resources. We are convinced that the efficient use of energy, taking into account economic efficiency and the use of technological innovations, leads to an increase in competitiveness and an improvement in the sustainability of the company. The continuous improvement of energy performance, within the framework of the energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001, is the basis for fulfilling our responsibility with regard to the conservation and efficient use of energy resources. Compliance with the binding obligations relevant to the area of energy, energy efficiency and energy consumption is the basis of our daily actions.

Guiding principles of our energy policy:

  • The energy policy is documented, communicated and regularly reviewed across all levels of the organization and updated as required. This is implemented within existing communication structures and regular deadlines.
  • The improvement of energy-related performance is supported by the purchase of energy-efficient products and services via the consideration of energy aspects in the procurement process.
  • Strategic and operational energy targets are derived, set and reviewed as part of the strategy and time planning process.
  • Ensuring the availability of information and the necessary resources to achieve the strategic and operational goals.

Occupational health and safety

 
 

Our goal is to ensure and improve the safety and health of our employees at work through occupational health and safety measures.  Safety and legally compliant action are essential parts of our corporate guidelines. This means implementing measures to prevent accidents at work and work-related health hazards, 
implementing measures for the humane design of work and, finally, reviewing the effectiveness of the measures and adjusting them if necessary. 

Principles of our occupational health and safety policy:

  • Work is to be designed in such a way that hazards to life and health are avoided as far as possible and the remaining hazards are kept as low as possible.
  • Hazards are to be combated at their source.
  • Measures shall take into account the state of the art in technology, occupational medicine and hygiene, as well as other established occupational science findings.
  • Measures are to be planned with the aim of properly combining technology, work organization, other working conditions and the influence of the environment on the workplace, taking into account operational requirements.
  • Suitable instructions are to be given to the employees.
  • Special hazards for particularly vulnerable groups of employees must be taken into account.
  • Individual protective measures are subordinate to other measures.
