242 fire protection and multi-purpose doors, 21 roller doors, and 10 sectional doors perform their tasks perfectly, guaranteeing TSG 1899 Hoffenheim trouble-free match operations. Visible from afar, on a slight hill, the new arena dominates the landscape near Sinsheim in Kraichgau. Up here, the soccer artists of 1899 Hoffenheim thrill their fans. The new soccer arena was built in 20 months directly on the A6 motorway and offers 30,150 places, including 21,000 seats and 9,150 standing places. Commissioned by the client and sports patron Dietmar Hopp, the stadium was planned and supervised by the architectural firm agn Niederberghaus & Partner.
The Teckentrup team developed optimal solutions for all requirements. These range from architecturally high-quality sectional doors with expanded metal infill for the stadium shell to double-walled multi-purpose doors in the exterior area and multifunctional fire protection closures in the corridors, catering, cooling, and electrical rooms. Smoke-proof roller doors with special dimensions and individual safety features were installed for the kiosks. All doors arrived at the construction site already primed and were painted on site to match the surroundings: exterior doors in matte black, interior doors in an elegant gray.
