Hangars, truck ports, sawmills or warehouses: there are a surprising number of special structures that require oversized doors. For entrances that are more than 15 metres wide or more than 15 metres high, specialists are needed who know how to reliably close such openings – with the right special solutions. Door dimensions beyond the normal range occur time and again – but there is no such thing as ‘too big’. Rather, it is a matter of customer-oriented solutions, including special applications if required.
Here we present four examples of solution-oriented doors in special sizes – from a logistics hall with XXL-format access points to an outward-rolling door, a door with a gigantic height of 12.5 metres and a folding door construction with twelve elements for an aircraft hangar.
