Living, working and researching – in a modern location with a historic ambience: the new ‘Elbarkaden’ in Magdeburg, nestled in the old harbour complex directly on the River Elbe, present themselves as an urban residential and working area. To ensure that visitors and employees can easily access the Speicher A complex and that all safety requirements are met in the arcades, all fire doors, smoke protection doors, security doors and industrial sectional doors have been carefully planned and coordinated. The importance of cooperation between all parties involved in such a demanding project is clearly demonstrated by the planned doors and gates, which have a lot to offer in terms of functionality and safety and at the same time have to meet high aesthetic standards.
